6th August 2018: 7digital, the B2B digital music and radio services company, today announces the promotion of Stacey Mitsopulos to the role of Director of Legal, Business Affairs and Music Partnerships.
Mitsopulos joined the company earlier this year as Head of Legal & Business Affairs, and has now moved into a senior leadership role in which she is responsible for strategy and operation of legal, business affairs and music partnerships at 7digital. These areas are critical to the success and growth of the business. Mitsopulos brings to the role unrivalled expertise and insight from negotiating deals for the biggest entertainment companies in the world.
An accomplished music rights lawyer with over ten years’ experience representing Juno- and Grammy-nominated artists, songwriters, producers and independent labels and publishers, before joining 7digital Mitsopulos held the position of Director of Commercial & Business Affairs at The Box Plus Network – a top UK music television network (home to the likes of 4Music and Kerrang!), co-owned by Channel 4 and Bauer Media. Prior, she served as Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at leading entertainment and consumer products company DHX Media in Toronto. Mitsopulos was also a founding partner of Canada’s premiere entertainment law firm, Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland.
