Meet the Team
Tell us what you do at 7digital
I'm head of Music Publishing at 7digital and am responsible for managing the relationship with our music publisher partners on an international basis. This involves building out our publishing licensing strategy, negotiating the licensing deals which give us the rights to support download, streaming and radio client services and providing licensing consultancy both to the business and externally.
Tell us a little about what you did before you started working at 7digital and what you like to do in your spare time
I've spent most of my career working in music publishing. This has involved a number of licensing roles at PRS for Music, managing Warner Chappell's Pan-European digital licensing initiative before moving to a more senior, commercial role at the B2B music services provider Omnifone. In my spare time I spend far too much money collecting old 45's and vintage clothing!
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is coming up with creative licensing solutions for the variety of business models that come my way on a daily basis.
What was the first concert you went to?
The first concert I went to was Radiohead at The Forum in Kentish Town.
What was the last great concert you went to?
The most exciting live band I've seen in the last year is Thee Oh Sees.
