Onkyo launched the world’s first high resolution download store in Japan in 2005. Music lovers are now serviced with a suite of Onkyo download sites and apps in the UK, Germany and the US.

For Onkyo’s client use case, 7digital worked closely with leading hi-fi manufacturer, Onkyo, to build the strategy and user experience for the expansion of their high resolution download service. From the content management of a massive hi-res 24-bit FLAC catalogue to user experience, editorial and app builds, the two teams were aligned on all aspects of this service launch.

7digital currently manages the content ingestion and merchandising for onkyomusic and has worked to introduce MQA content to their service.
