New York, NY, June 16 2015 7digital, a leading global digital music platform, has announced that James Priestley, the company’s London-based VP of Business Development, has been promoted to GM of North America. In this role, Priestley will manage all operations and business development in the United States, Canada and Latin America. He will also head 7digital’s San Francisco office.

U.S. companies currently powered by 7digital’s robust technical infrastructure include everything from celebrity smartwatches and high-end audio equipment brands to innovative startups and powerful mobile networks. Prior to beginning work as Production Manager, Account Manager, and Senior Account Manager at 7digital in 2006, Priestley served in marketing and advertising roles at leading media companies including Warner Music Group and The Guardian.
