7digital to Power Music Streaming for ROK Mobile

ROK Mobile Music Network, a new Mobile Virtual Network Operator, will launch a new 7digital supported streaming music service optimized for mobile: giving subscribers on-demand music and personalized radio.
New York, NY 24 June 2014 – 7digital, a leading open digital music platform, have announced they are a key partner supporting the brand new music streaming service for MVNO ROK Mobile. The mobile operator and service is set for a major commercial launch in the US on the 4th of July. An international roll out in various countries is planned to follow the US launch.
7digital’s proven robust APIs and powerful infrastructure will handle many key components of the service, including content management, music file serving and royalty reporting. ROK Mobile’s music service gives users access to millions of tracks from 7digital’s global music catalog. Users will be able to stream songs on demand, create personalized radio stations and filter them based on mood, era and other dynamic filters. The service will also include smart features designed to function across 2.5G, 3G, 4G, LTE and Wi-Fi networks.
