Tell us what you do at 7digital?

I work as part of the Creative Team, which means quite a broad range of work; from pitching and producing radio shows, to making video content for the BBC and commercial clients to music curation and play-listing. But I'm happy to say, music is the all-important element.

Tell us a little about what you did before you started working at 7digital?

Working in radio is pretty much all I've done; I've done it for a long, long time, man and boy. In fact, I'm not sure what else I can do. I started making radio shows in a friend's garden shed, then moved to a slightly fancier shed, then a proper office (but one with an 8 foot cowboy boot in it), then Media City in Salford, before winding up in London's glittering East End as part of 7d. And it's very nice to be here.

What is your favourite album or song of all time?

My favourite album is probably by a cult LA band called Fishbone and it's Truth And Soul. The band play an eclectic, electric mix of ska, funk, punk, reggae, metal and new wave (with a dash of rock 'n roll, doo wop and country). There's a cover of Curtis Mayfield on there and with Bonin In The Boneyard they have probably the funkiest song ever, and the bass playing is simply superhuman. They also played the best gig I ever saw and probably will ever see. You can watch the highlights here (and see if you can spot me - I'm in there)
