Tell us what you do at 7digital

I manage editorial across all the consumer stores, from selecting what music is featured and profiling releases, to interviewing artists and writing features. A large part of my role is relationship management with our label and PR contacts. Sounds corny, but as a life-long music fan, I love my job.

Tell us a little about what you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I write features and reviews for other publications, including London In Stereo, Loud & Quiet and Crack Magazine. When I’m not working, you can generally find me at a gig or club night, socialising with friends, or checking out live comedy and design exhibitions.

What was the last great concert you went to?

I saw Bruce Springsteen for the first time the other night, in Manchester, and he was fantastic. Normally, I stick to watching emerging acts - Athens, Georgia band Mothers at Dalston’s Servant Jazz Quarters was probably my favourite gig I’ve seen this year.

Favourite album or song of all time?

Argh, that’s so difficult. I’ll go with my favourite song, and it’s Pulp’s ‘Do You Remember The First Time?’. I’ve listened to it about a million times, and yet I still get a rush of euphoria whenever I hear it unexpectedly. It’s a perfect pop song.
